At a glance. ColorRing does not require an account, name or email address to play. Your game progress is stored on your device. The advertising and purchase services integrated into the app may process data as described below, subject to your privacy choices and applicable law.
1. Who is responsible?
ColorRing: Tap & Survive ("ColorRing", "the Game") is published by Johann Lahoud, operating under the name CWJ Dev, France. For privacy questions and requests, write to contact@cyberwithjohann.com.
2. Information processed
- Local progress: levels, scores, virtual Rings currency, settings and unlocked cosmetics are stored locally on your device. ColorRing does not require a player account.
- Ads and diagnostics: when advertising features are enabled, third-party SDKs may process device information, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, advertising identifiers (where available and permitted), ad impressions and interactions, and technical events needed for ad delivery, fraud prevention and reporting.
- Consent choices: Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) may store or communicate your consent choices to participating advertising providers as applicable.
- Purchases: Apple processes in-app purchases, including the optional "Remove Ads" product. The Game processes purchase status or entitlements to activate the feature; we do not receive your full payment card details.
3. Why information is used
Local game data makes progression and settings work. Advertising partners may process information to deliver, measure and secure ads, depending on your choices and permissions. Purchase information is used to provide and restore purchased features. Processing is based, as applicable, on your consent, providing requested services, compliance with legal obligations and legitimate interests where legally permitted.
4. Advertising, consent and tracking
The Game integrates Unity LevelPlay / ironSource Ads and may use Unity Ads for rewarded videos and occasional full-screen interstitials. Google UMP is used to manage privacy choices in relevant regions. Advertising partner availability can change and an ad may not always be available.
Where required, the Game asks you to make privacy choices before ad requests. Where Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) rules apply, a separate iOS permission prompt may be shown before tracking or accessing the advertising identifier for tracking. Declining consent or tracking permission does not prevent you from playing ColorRing. Some ad types may be unavailable or limited, depending on the law and SDK capabilities. Non-personalized ads may still involve limited personal-data processing.
If privacy choices are available for your region, you can revisit them through Settings → Privacy Choices in the Game. You can also manage iOS tracking permissions in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
5. Third-party services
Depending on the build and enabled services, ColorRing may integrate the following providers, each of which publishes its own privacy information:
- Unity Technologies (including LevelPlay, ironSource Ads, Unity Ads and associated ad-quality services)
- Google (User Messaging Platform / consent infrastructure)
- Apple (App Store purchases and platform services)
6. Retention and transfers
Local game data remains on your device until it is deleted through available device/game controls or the app is removed, subject to operating-system backup behavior. Consent choices may remain on your device and can be updated through the privacy controls when available. External service providers apply their own retention schedules and may process information outside the European Economic Area under applicable transfer safeguards. See the linked provider policies for details.
7. Your rights
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal data, object to certain processing, request data portability and withdraw consent at any time. Contact contact@cyberwithjohann.com for assistance. Some information handled by independent third-party providers may also require contacting those providers. You may complain to your relevant supervisory authority, including France's CNIL.
8. Children
ColorRing is a general-audience game and is not specifically directed to children under 13. Age-related protections and restrictions for advertising may apply under local law and platform rules.
9. Updates
This policy may change as the Game or its service providers change. The latest version and update date will be shown here.
